Prince George County Book Signing Event

Greenbelt Roosevelt Center, 131 Centerway, Greenbelt, MD 20770

Sunday, June 6th

1:00PM-4:00PM

I wanted to let you know what the Prince George’s County Local Group of Maryland Moms Demand Action is planning for Wear Orange Weekend, which is happening this year on June 5-6th! We are so excited to be hosting, our first in-person event since before the pandemic started! Can you join us on Sunday, June 6, in Greenbelt, to support a local gun violence survivor who published a book for children survivors?

We’re showing up to support and honor our fellow Prince George’s County Moms Demand Action member, Dr. Tyreese R. McAllister, at a local book signing event. Tyreese has authored a beautiful new children’s book titled, Is My Lollipop in Heaven? The book was written to help children through their grief and in memory of her daughter, Ayana Jazmyn McAllister, who was killed in 2017 when she was a first-year college student. Dr. Tyreese R. McAllister is a licensed mental health practitioner with more than 25 years of experience in the field of emergency mental health, helping individuals who have experienced traumatic events to recover and overcome with radical resilience. If you can join us, please RSVP below:
