Dr. Tyreese R. McAllister boasts over 30 years of expertise in providing exceptional mental health services, with a focus on supporting individuals during crises or traumatic situations. She earned a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and a Post-Master’s Certificate in Addiction Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. Recognized for her outstanding contributions to addressing gun violence, Tyreese has been honored with two Honorary Doctorates. Currently, she is enhancing her skills and knowledge by pursuing a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) with a specialization in Criminology and Justice, further solidifying her commitment to making a significant impact in the field.
In close collaboration with law enforcement agencies, we actively and deliberately provide training to first responders, equipping them with the skills needed to effectively interact with individuals affected by mental illness and various high-risk behaviors. Our comprehensive approach includes training sessions, workshops, consultations, and coaching all design to reduce the incidents of excessive use of force by law enforcement, and reduce community complaints and enhance the capabilities of law-enforcement personnel.
